I've been doing a heckuva lot of painting recently, but haven't had time to take photos.
And I have also been doing weekly drawings for the club at school, which aren't fantastic but they're something.

And that's really all that's been going on. Graduating soon, so on and so forth, blah blah blah.
I'm too tired for this~

I got diagnosed with Strep yesterday, so I didn't go into work today as they didn't want the disease to spread.  I'm on antibiotics and all that good stuff, so at this point I just have terrible cabin fever and a bad sore throat.  This was done for PSU's video game club ~ they do a weekly drawing and this week's theme was Mother3/Earthbound.  I tried to go for the old-time cartoon style then aged it to help with that.
Now that that's done, I'm gonna go to sleep I think~

[ps] My Darkstalker's tribute didn't make it into the UDON book.  Next year, yeah?

So, UDON entertainment did an awesome Street Fighter tribute book last year, which called on all sorts of artists to volunteer fan art for the awesome video game.  This year, they did one for Dark Stalkers and I caught wind of it.  Deadline's tomorrow, so I just squeaked it in.



John Talbain is pretty amazing, and so is BB Hood, so why not throw the two together?  I feel pretty accomplished, seeing that I haven't colored anything digitally for quite some time, I've never drawn/painted a gun before, and I hate trees.
Woohoo for me.
Anyway, yeah, this is really all that I've done that's been worth mentioning recently. Okay, back to watching House.

Hrm.

Well, yeah, I haven't drawn anything recently (besides for class, which doesn't count because they're dumb).
NaNoWriMo is going well, actually. I was behind as I didn't write for a few days due to homework, but I caught up today during my three hour break between classes (wrote almost 4k words today, dang!).

I also went on a photo adventure with Chris on saturday. Even though I took about one hundred photos, only about five or six turned out decent, and I really like just one of them :/ But that's how life is, yeah?

I'll do a cut so it doesn't massively kill everything.

For my advanced mixed media class, I'm working on pieces about memory. So far I've finished one of my grandfather and am working on one about my dad.

Added about two of three layers of white oil paint, I think I may add one or two more.
It was kind of strange working on this, as I've never drawn or painted my dad before. The more I looked at the photo, the more I felt like I was forgetting the dad I knew and started seeing a different person... it was weird. Kind of like when you look at a word for so long that it becomes abstracted.
Thank god my nose isn't as big as his... I stared at it for so long and finally went into the bathroom to compare. My nose is like his but smaller, -phew-
I also find it funny that my dad would not be amused that I'm using him in art, since he is still upset that I'm going to school for art. Actually... this is the second piece I've done on him, and I'm sure they'd both piss him off :| .....

Anyway, I'm going to be painting pieces of dragon fruit falling and collecting at the bottom. I'll explain that later.
